Jammu Airport, officially known as Jammu Civil Enclave is situated in 8.7 miles from the international border between India and Pakistan. It is also known as Satwari Airport and is one of the youngest airports in India. Located just 14 km from the Indo-Pak border, it is a domestic airport and there are limited numbers of flight operators that provide flights to Jammu. Jammu airport is a domestic airport; hence there is only 1 terminal which offers numerous facilities to the travelers. Travellers can avail trolleys, baggage services along with services for senior citizen and physically handicapped people.

These services are complementary to the travellers. Travelers can relax at the snack bar and indulge in shopping from the numerous shops selling jewellery, magazines, stationery, food and many other products. Duty free shopping can also be done at the Jammu airport. This charming Airport in Jammu and Kashmir, also serves as a base to visit the Hindu shrine Vaishno Devi which is considered to be one of the holiest pilgrimages among Hindus.
